MSCPA/NABA/Fisher College ACAP Program - Suffolk University

The Accounting Careers Awareness program (ACAP) is a week-long, non-residential, all expense-paid, summer program to introduce students of diverse ethnic backgrounds to various opportunities available in the business world, particularly accounting. There will be two programs this year and will be held on the college campuses of Fisher College and Suffolk University in Boston. The program offers a diverse set of learning experiences that includes panel discussions, interactive exercises, field trips and guest lectures from area business and government professionals. The program is designed to be fun, challenging and engaging.

Activities include:
  • Resume building workshops;
  • Exploration of opportunities in the accounting profession;
  • Various social activities throughout the week;
  • A student outing & visit to an accounting firm; and
  • A tour of a public accounting firm.
Graduates of either of these programs are eligible to apply for a $1,000 renewable scholarship to go towards their accounting education. For more information about these programs, please contact Erica DeBiase.
