MSCPA CEO Blog: Amy's Angle

  • As you know, the conference committee charged with reconciling the differences between the House and Senate tax reform proposals will soon release a compromise bill. We will review the proposal and will continue working in coordination with the AICPA on any lobbying activity while Congress prepares to take final votes. As this process wraps up, we will need to shift our focus to the state to help lawmakers understand the changes that will be made to the tax code, identifying areas where Massachusetts will disagree with federal law.
